[resolved] 1x1 pixel image added at the end of a custom template. (4 posts)

    Hi,

    Since version 4.0 i have an image of 1x1 pixel added at the end of my custom display.
    the image added is http://yarpp.org/pixels/f111760c26db5c8916eb61624104f89e

    don't how to remove this.

    I had the same problem. after some testing, I found that UNCHECK "Send settings and usage data back to YARPP" in YARPP options removes the 1x1 pixel. Hope this helps.

    thanks for this quick answer ! unchecking this box removed this pixel for me also.

    Yes, this is part of the opt-in data collection. In the "help" tab in the settings page, there is more information about this, and it mentions that this pixel is added as well.

    This data collection is completely optional, but for the first time it will help me make better decisions about YARPP's future development. It's very difficult to write code which will be running on other people's machines, in different environments, for different uses. As part of this, the loaded image helps me better understand the traffic and performance characteristics of YARPP's usage on different kinds of sites, and I designed it to be very minimal impact.
