Great plugin. We’re looking to have users sign up for one or more events and have the event booking(s) sent to their MS Outlook calendar. How do the ical shortcode parameters work and where do they go — in individual events? RSS feed? Calendar page? We have looked in your shortcode documentation, but it isn’t clear.

You have placeholders and shortcodes. The shortcode [eme_ical_link] can be placed on a regular WP page, for all options:

The placeholders #_ICALLINK and #_ICALURL are event specific,so they can only be used in the event format settings (either those for event lists, or for a single event). See http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/?p=282

Thanks for the help. We’ve customised the shortcode so users can subscribe to the calendar. We’ve used the #ICALLINK on the default single event format. But, it displays as ICAL. How can we customise “ICAL” to read as: “Add to Calendar” or something similar at the bottom of each event?

Have found the answer: <a href="#_ICALLINK">Add to Outlook</a>
