• Hey guys,

I’ve encountered a problem with the link to my vBulletin forums. I created a page with the purpose of linking to my forums, but it seems it gets redirected to the wordpress site itself and displays a 404. I created a sub-domain and it redirects me to a random 404 page from the abecks.dk site.. I do not know what is causing this, I think it has something to do with the fact that my forums are in http://www.pvpunited.com/forum but when I link to it, I think WordPress intercepts it and thinks its a part of the WP-site.

Can someone tell me how to go from the WP-site to the forums?

    Thanks,

    Cheezy

  • The forum link works fine here. Did you get it sorted out?

No, when I try to open the modcp it redirects it to the 404 again, I think it has something to do with WordPress’ permalinks. The format was formerly WordPresssite.com/%postname% and it didn’t work. Now I changed it back to the default one, but it’s bad for the SEO, does anyone know how to exclude the forum directory from WordPress?
