subdomain site fails to load dashboard

    Hello,
    Basically : getting this error on a subdomain WP install : “This webpage has a redirect loop”

    So i thought to post it here ..
    I have one WP blog on main domain and one on subdomain site.com and sub.site.com .. just recently the one at sub.site.com wont load the dashboard, i can open the blog view posts etc but cant login .
    So I googled..
    the directory structure is /home2/site/public_html for site.com and /home2/site/public_html/sub/ for sub.site.com
    now i didnt use Multi site, it was working all Fine in the past i do think the hoster did something.
    I read many posts , for instance Can’t Access Wp in newly added subdomain also followed the tut at http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network#Step_2:_Setting_Wildcard_Subdomains

    lol as i was writing this post and meanwhile, i managed to add the multsite in site.com and added a subdomain of sub.site.com … but when i open sub.site.com/wp-admin , again the same error “This webpage has a redirect loop”

    i was wondering wont i need to do something with the sub.site.com ? like any amendments in web.config or .htaccess file to tell it that you are inside a multsite network ?
