Horizontal one row view?

Hello! Thanks for this plugin, but I’m not satisfied with this widget in vertical sidebar and want to use it in horiznotal footer. What i’m trying to get is horizontal one row (one line) view of widget with horizontal scrollbar (like here, but simplier, with normal scrollbar: Sample of what i want). What i have at moment is almost horizontal look of items but in several rows and with vertical scrolling, like here in footer: It’s just rough example of what i’ve done
I’m wondering if i can get what i want just with css? Or it’s possible only with changing of javascript files?
I think such option will be useful not only for me. Thanks.
