  • Hi @anrikaz,

Greetings and thanks for posting! I’m able to replicate that through some test sites. It seems to work rather strangely, sometimes it saves, other times not.

I’m notifying the lead developer right now. Thanks for reporting this, looking forward to getting that sorted for ya! 🙂

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi @david

I’ve updated the plugin to 2.0.7 but still have problem, if i want to enable Custom Sidebar, i must tick all “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” on every widget. Can’t choose it alone like before.

    Hi @anrikaz,

That 2.0.7 unfortunately didn’t include anything for this particular issue, I’m afraid. We’re still looking into this one and I suspect we’ll have an update along shortly to sort it.

Thanks for your patience with this. 🙂

    Cheers,
    David

Not good enough. Why isn’t this fixed yet? You’ve had at least 6 days according to this topic. AFAIK your plugin is no longer operational, not even to “pro” version subscribers. PLEASE supply a target fix date immediately!

    Hi @ionainteractive,

Thanks for posting as well and we’ve got a few developers looking into it right now. We should have something along for it shortly.

Thanks for your patience with this, we’ll get it sorted asap.

    Cheers,
    David

Hey @anrikaz, @ionainteractive, the plugin’s been updated to sort that issue. Could you please give that update a go and let us know how it works for you?

Looking forward to your replies. 🙂

I can confirm that for our WP installation the latest update corrects the inability to save clicks on the “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” checkboxes in theme sidebars.

    Hi @ionainteractive,

Awesome, great to see the latest update fixed your issue.

If we can be of any further assistance please don’t hesitate to ask 🙂

    Cheers,

I can’t save the sidebar anymore 🙁 [all or single] when i update to version 2.0.8… I’m using theme Smart-Mag, Woocomerce on my site.

    Hi @anrikaz,

Could you please explain a bit more in detail what is not getting saved?

I think you are talking about not saving “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” option.

I have tested it on my test site using WordPress version 3.9.1, default WordPress Twenty Thirteen theme and custom sidebar version 2.0.8 and found the “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” option is getting saved.

You can just try on your development site deactivating all other plugins and using default WordPress theme like Twenty Thirteen as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/ plugin is conflicting if any.

    Hi @anrikaz,

Just checking back on this, were you able to get that sorted? We’d love to help if it’s still an issue.

Just let us know a bit more detail as per the previous reply. We’ll gladly assist. 🙂

    Thanks!
    David
