ignitiondeck packages necessary?

I have a noob question. I want to build a crowdfunding platform. Do I just need to get a theme, the crowdfunding plugin from astoundify, and maybe a few more plugins? Is that all I need to build the site? So what is the Ignitiondeck Enterprise package for? Do I need it in order for my users to submit campaigns through the frontend?
