    Hello Josh,

I installed WP Edit but unfortunately I cannot customize (drag & drop) the button’s I would like.

When I try to drag a button from the: Button Placeholder Container, a pop up says: saving options to database, but the button doesn’t appear in the Editor rows.

Can you help me? I’m especially interested in the “image button”.

    Thanks a lot!

    Best,

    Stephanie

P.s. I tried to register for your specialized forum, but somehow that didn’t work.

    Hi Stephanie,
    Sorry for the inconveniences.

What happens to the button? Does it disappear? What happens when you refresh the page; where is the button?

Regarding the forum; did you receive any notices or error messages when you tried to register?

Any specifics (steps to replicate) would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hey Josh,

Thanks for your quick reply. The button ‘flies’ to the Editor Rows but won’t stick. Then the pop up: Saving buttons to database appears. When I refresh the button is still in in the Button Placeholder Container unfortunately.

About your forum (I checked again what happened): I never got a link to activate in my e-mail.

    Hope you can help me!

    Best,

    Stephanie

P.s. The activation link wasn’t in my spam folder either.

Okay, I just sent you a reminder on the forum to activate your account. Let me know if you receive that email.

Regarding the buttons.. it’s strange you are the only one to mention this issue.

Is it possible you could go through the typical troubleshooting process of deactivating your other plugins? You can do it all at once; and leave WP Edit active. Then, clear your browser cache.. and see if you can then drop into the top row.

Basically, you can move buttons around in Row 1 (top row); and you can move buttons between Row 1 and the Placeholder container. The other editor rows are reserved for the Pro version (although Row 2 still displays in the editor as shown).

Thanks for the suggestion. But no luck. I deactivated all the plugins. Still won’t work.

Do you have any other suggestions?

P.s. I got your email this time, so I’m in 🙂

We have tracked this down to an incompatibility with the “Ares” theme from Envato.

I will keep updates posted here, but I’m going to mark this thread as resolved, since I believe the issue is not with WP Edit.
