You can replace the instance of ‘%htitle%’ in the both Home Template and Home Template (unlinked) under the General tab of the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page. %htitle% can be replaced with either HTML for an image that is the home symbol, or use an icon font.

As for the other question, surround the calling code with an if statement that checks the appropriate WordPress conditional tag.

    Hi
    I’ve changed with <i class=”fa fa-home”></i> but it doesn’t appear. http://www.experimentar.pt/
Regarding to the other question, I don’t understand what to do mean.

Currently, the i tag is not supported/in the list of valid HTML for Breadcrumb NavXT settings. Design wise, since the i tag now (in HTML5) represents a different voice, I’m not sure it makes semantic sense to ever use it in a breadcrumb trail (I could be wrong, but that’s my current understanding). Try using the span element instead.
