Well, the text isn’t going to wrap around the embed regardless.

    You can do this:

Hope you like it! [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUeSLu8OX-g&list=PLDE7AFAAAE016079B[/embed] A presto Diego !

But, as the video will often fill the maximum available width, it will still wind up looking like the second.

Not really, if they still just want to send in a normal URL, the auto-embed is the only way to do it.

The point I was trying to make with the earlier reply is that while it can be embedded via shortcode, it still won’t get what you’re after, as the video embed will take the full width regardless. It’s just better (in my opinion) and easier overall in this case to do the following, because that is essentially what you’ll get no matter what, since the video will take the full width by default regardless and just push the following text down to the next line.

    Hope you like it!

Oh, ok then. In that case, I recommend asking at http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/responsive-video-embeds so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

the problem is not the plug or the width ! the problem is that if the link is not in a single line the embed of wordpress don’t work.

Right, that it’s intentionally designed that way, the auto-embed system only identifies URLs on their own.

That’s why I recommend asking the plugin, they might have their own way around it.
