I'm having a problem whereby pages will publish, but aren't accessable through >> Manage >> Pages (it says "Published (7)" then, underneath, "No pages found.")

I have seen one other post similar to this while searching, but no fix. Have removed and recreated databases and done full clean installs. Checked with all plug-ins off (this was actually a problem since a fresh install) and double checked permissions on the folders.

Has anyone experienced or, more helpfully, fixed this problem?

Chris, where are you at with this?
About to chase it as I cannot work (as usual).
I spent yesterday chasing a breakage caused by page names with a colon (not in page slug, just title).
Today it's "No pages found" or more often 'cannot display webpage' - page being ..wp-admi/edit-pages.php. And I have 170 pages happily displaying when I browse my site.
Looks like another day wasted fixing the blog.
    Phil

Hmmm, it came good after my 27th click. Since it's unlikely a self-repairing function of mysql must be network or webhost related. Or are there mysql repair bots roaming the cyberverse doing good deeds?

    I have the same problem.

Was using google chrome for a while until pages disappeared from Manage Pages although the count is correct. Same for Posts.

Then I switched to Firefox 2.017 and it worked for a while then the problem returned a few hours later.

Switched to IE 7 and it cleared again so I tried clearing cached data in FireFox and hey presto! it worked.

Maybe it's a browser session thing? dunno, but it's a bug for sure

Check with your host provider. I had a similar problem runing version 2.6 and the database crashed. I logged into my Control Panel at my host and they had a way to check the MySQL database. Told the admin and they fixed the problem. Hope this helps.

What if the data is happily sitting in the database but the site won't display then? Same with my posts too!! Everything was fine until I upgraded to 2.8!
