@nilay89 – Have you tried changing your WordPress Permalinks from the “Default” to something such as “Post name” or “Month name”?

    See if that helps …

    Thanks!

    I have solved this

theme used “get_the_excerpt()” function in blog shortcode so it’s not show gallery

I have remove this and add $post->post_content

@nilay89 – Well Done! I’m glad you found and corrected the issue with your theme.

    Thanks for letting us know.

Isn’t this a core WP function. So isn’t it a problem that nextgen does not work with it. I have a similar problem, although not with this theme. But still a problem with the combination of get_the_excerpt() and nextgen. this fix does not work in my situation.

I had a short code for my gallery before which showed thumbnails of many images.
But it doesn’t work anymore. Any idea what’s wrong here? http://cafestroget.se/galleri/

This is what I got in my page editor:
    [nggallery id=173]
    [nggallery id=gallery]

@agil3 – This must be a different issue than the OP was having. It would be much better for you to start a new topic as the get_the_excerpt() output would not render the correct information for NextGEN Gallery to read and then render the display expected.

@caroline – I would suspect you may have a different issue as well so a new topic would also be correct for you to start. Also to note, the default NextGEN Gallery would not “know” what is expected with id=gallery.

    Thanks!

@photocrati Ok, well why would it not understand id=gallery if I named the gallery “gallery”?

I tried with ID, Page ID and name of the specific gallery but none of them works anymore.

@caroline – Please start your own topic for your issue.

    Thanks!
