   I have a new WP site and I'm pretty new to WP. I have my Admin account and about 11 members that are registered as Authors.

   The site is new and has only 3 pages. It had one test post that I made, but I've deleted that post, so it has no posts right now.

   I was logged in as Admin and tried to make a post, but I noticed that it's putting the name of another author on my post -- it happens to be the first registered member whose name alphabetically comes after Admin.

   Why is this. How can I prevent this?

   I am having the same issue, anyone find a way to resolve this?

   I am also having this issue. I can set up another user if I have to, purely to post, but I'd prefer to use my Admin user!
