• Hey Guys,

i have some problems with the german special characters “ä, ö, ü, ß”. When i try to save them in my textboxes they aren’t saved in the database.

my database is utf8_gerneral_ci, wordpress as well. When i look at my Sourcecode there is the line <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=UTF-8″ /> which should be fine.

    for instance:

i have a field “street”, which is “Straße” in German. When i had the value “Musterstraße”, Magic Fields 2 saves only “Musterstra”. Everythink from the special char on will not be saved.

is there anyone who can help? please?

    Kevin

    Hey,

Thanks for the reply. I solved the problem, it was a chrome-problem, not a wordpress-problem.
