• I have a closed website for our group. The site was previously done in Drupal and I’m trying to move it over to WordPress. One of the features we had set up on the Drupal site was that we were able to categorically restrict the viewing of certain posts, and I’d like to do that again with WordPress.

For example…we had a category (or tag) called ‘members only’. Posts with that category would not show up on the public version. It would only show up to registered users (which happened to only be members).

I’ve been browsing, but I can’t find something like this that will work for WordPress 2.6. Does anyone have a solution?

  • Maybe could consider something like WP-Sentry? It’s specified on a per-post basis.

There are quite a number of members-only plugins though 🙂

Actually…I’m pleasently surprised by that. Reading the description, it sounded like a post-control system. Thanks.
