Slideshow Not Functioning

After installing this theme, my slideshows stopped working. Like always, for my latest post, I clicked the “media” link, then selected “create gallery.” I selected my photos, but when I selected “Type: Slideshow,” my photos appeared in a grid, and clicking on them did nothing. When I selected “Type: Thumbnail Grid,” they also appeared in a grid. I could click on them, but that wouldn’t take me to a slideshow. It would just take me to their attachment page. I also tried selecting gallery format, which didn’t seem to change anything, and toggling the Jetpack carousel feature on and off. Am I missing some setting? Please help…I really like this theme, but being able to easily post photo slideshows is important to me, so I need to be able to do so. Thank you.
