Hello people. I just downloaded and installed the latest version of The Event Calendar, which I love by the way, and I’m having issue with the blog loop integration. Sorry if it’s not the good term, I’m in the french version.

I use this theme http://demo.pukkathemes.com/ubergrid/ witch has a grid system displaying the blog on the front page. I can’t seem to be able to show the events I add to the front page grid.

I know it’s probably because the extension was not made for this but if any of you has an idea on where I should start to do that that would be really appreciated! I would even be willing to pay if someone is able to do it for me.

Thank you! Have a good day!

  • I like the plugin called All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly. It’s a better Events Calendar than The Event Calendar IMHO.

    Hi betterwebpresence,

I think there is a simple setting provided in the plugin for integrating event with wordpress default post. Just go to The Event Calendar Settings page and tick mark “Include events in main blog loop”.

This will start showing the events in your blog list, that is I think the grid post on your home page.

But if your theme post at home page are created through some other custom post type then this will not work.

    Hi betterwebpresence,

As Hozefa mentioned, there is a setting for including events in the main blog loop. Have you tried using that? If it’s not working it may be a conflict with your theme. In that case you might try getting in touch with your theme’s developer to see if they can help out.

    Cheers,
    Leah
