    Hi,
I am very new at wordpress and I am needing to use your plug in. I am trying to migrate from a local installation to a hosted installation. I saw note about not requiring url so I think that is confusing me. Can you please elaborate on what goes into the export form? Say my database name is called my-database-1 and it is on my local server and the database I want to move my content to is called my-database-2 and it in on my web hosting account server. Can you give example of what would go in form? I tried just adding those database names into each field and it messed up my admin path on the when it was finished. Im sure this is really easy for most, sorry for needing the extra guidance… Thanks in advance.

    Hi Eileen,

I will be happy to assist you.
You don’t need to put anything in the input fields. Just click the export package button, download the file and import it on your destination.

If something doesn’t work for you, use the report a problem form that comes with the plugin (the red link on export/import pages).
