without knowing the url of the rss feed, I can’t help you.
Thanks for the reply Allen.
The feed was on the simplepie link but its http://www.hrmagazine.co.uk/feeds/rss/category/recruiting

here’s the problem…the images in that feed do not have fully qualified urls…meaning, they don’t include the domain from where they came (only a folder within a web site). Here is the url of the image:
<img title="" src="/IMG/420/13420/kevin-green-185x114.jpg?1375691947" alt="kevin-green"/>
so, the url starts with /img, but no “http” etc.
Ahh okay, thanks Allen 🙂
Would this also affect using a default category image on feed to post if it was set “replace articles with no image …” as its the only feed not working correctly?
Thanks

what I would do is add a default image to the category, and replace it when there is no image…so yes.
I have set that and it is working for another feed but not this feed http://www.hrmagazine.co.uk/feeds/rss/category/recruiting :/

ok…that feed is a real problem…the links are poorly formed. The only solution is to use a new file that you can upload to your server…can you do that? If so, here is the link (put this in the plugin’s inc folder as a replacement for what’s there).

I added the new file, deleted all posts then re-added but still not getting an image on the posts from that feed :/
