Agreed. If this plug-in is inactive, is there another which turns regular posts into future events?
All of the other events calendar solutions seem to segregate events into separate tables.
I am with imsoper and jcollier on this. I’d LOVE a hack!
The ‘upcoming events’ widget still works… and the calendar displays correctly… the only thing preventing this plugin from working with 2.6 is that on clicking a calendar date, the event-posts for that date are not displayed in the main index.
Ah! After what felt like hours of searching google and forums, I found a patch for eventscalendar3!!

when i try this plugin out on wordpress 2.6, i click the “event” category and i’m expecting more options to pop up like the instructions say, but nothing happens.
this is the type of plugin i’m looking for to make a simple event listings website that does jcollier mentions where it doesn’t split them into a separate table.
Follow-up: in the end, I decided to use wp-events.
