Do post revisions take up space in my server or my database?
There are 9 revisions, I have the final post already but want to delete the 9 revisions without deleting the final post....how do I do that?

It has been posted many times, just do a search.

If you would like to turn post revisions off, you can do this (amongst many other things including changing the uploader type, turning off autosave and controlling every aspect of the write post/page panel) with the plugin over at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-cms-post-control/
