    Hello,

it seems to have a problem with the resume skills in the Resume Manager plugin ( 1.5.2 ). The resume skills not shown on the frontend. On the backend the resume skills shown ( both in meta box and in the resume listing ) but when the resume approved and published disappeared from both backend and frontend. In the resume skills page the skills appear normally.

    Where is the problem?

    Best Regards,
    Panos

I’ve tested approvals and the data doesn’t disappear. Perhaps this is related to your template changes from the other thread, since the template you’ve been messing with also outputs skills?

    Hello Mike,

i made some tests and here is what i found:

the resume skills disappears from the meta box and from the frontend when i open a candidates resume from the backend and then hit the publish button without first approve the resume.

If i approve first the resume from the backend by hitting the relative icon, then the resum skills works just fine both on the backend and frontend.

Why do you think this happened?

You can recreate this? Do you see the skills listed in the meta box before publishing? WordPress handles the saving of the skills – the system is identical to post tags.

Yes i recreate the skills after publishing manually. Yes i do see the skills in the meta box before publishing. After publishing the meta box become empty.

This does not occur in my testing. I’m using 1.5.2.

Not the same for me. The problem is at the backend in the meta box. When i add new resume and try to add a skill manually it doesn’t input it at all. It turns empty. The same if i choose from the most used. Both for greek and english language. Any thoughts?

    You are using WPML?
