adding a welcome message to home post page

    Hi!

    I’ve made my home page my “posting” page, is there a way to add a welcome message at the top? I tried to place one in the page editor, but I can’t see it. I also created it as a sticky post, but I don’t want it to look like a post.

    Use a static home page, and then add excerpts or full posts below the main content. You will probably need to create a child theme for this.
