My configure settings are not saving. I’ve tried changing the confirmation email based on advice from an old feed, but it didn’t solve my problem. When I click on “update configuration settings” nothing happens. It doesn’t save any changes and defaults to the old information, which is wrong. Please help, this is incredible frustrating!!!

Try deactivating and reactivating the plugin.

If I do that will I lose any information? I have a few hundred people registered for a few events already and I can’t risk losing all that information.

Typically Deactivating and Reactivating the plugin will not erase your data… however it is a good practice to always backup your data before making any significant change to your site like upgrading themes or plugins.

You can download an excel report of your attendee and an excel report of payments as well from the plugin.

The plugin is written to verify your tables it uses when activated and update any tables not correct. The latest version of the plugin does not alter attendee tables, just the settings table.

You will likely need to verify and update the settings after upgrade.

DO NOT USE THE UNINSTALL from the event registration menu, as that will wipe your data (you will receive a confirmation warning if you attempt)
