how to install my theem on locally and run it?

    hi am having my own wp theme and its working on a web site. And i backed it up and i want run it locally and learn.I already installed my xampp.How to ue my them locally.I got all the theme files and the sql database with me.Any help please??

    Load up the local WP site , goto Dashboard -> appearance -> themes -> Add new -> and Upload your theme -> Then activate it . this should get the theme working on your local setup.

    Thank you. What about the database? i got sql file
