Update published date ( post_date / the_date) with the_modofied_date

    Hi,

    Basically what i want is,
    When a post is updated, i want that post’s post_date (published date) , the_date to be updated as well, just like the_modified_date.

    I know this can be done manually when updating the post, we have 30 posts published daily, this becomes irritating.

    Any help appreciated
