[resolved] Missing mystery image and sidebar issues (3 posts)

OK, on this site http://generatordevelopmentgroup.com/blog I have a couple of issues that I cannot resolve, so perhaps somebody out there can help me again. On the home page in IE, it seems to think there is a missing image which I cannot find anywhere and it won't tell me what it thinks the image is, just shows the question mark in a box.

Next is the sidebar. I used sideposts to include a category and it shows up, but it is all funky, I see 'About Us' in 3 places, the layers are on top of each other and I cannot find anyplace that seems to control this behavior in the Stylesheet.

    So, help! Please.

It is looking for this image...

//generatordevelopmentgroup.com/blog/images/head.gif (34 x 36px) (...although I can't sort out why it's looking for a 34 x36 image in your install folder, rather than the theme folder) is there any chance the image is defined in two places? once in the css at #bigimage, and additionally somewhere else? Very strange.

Does your "about" issue go away when you deactivate the "side post" plugin?

I don't know anything about the plugin, but is "About Us" a page rather than a category? Just quickly browsing the plugin info seems to indicate that it requires a category for the sidebar, rather than a page. Perhaps you have already tried that as well. Just food for thought. I have no idea if it really makes any difference or not.

Weird, I thought that image was a different one, but I commented it out and that issue went away, so thank you.

AS for the sidebar issue, if I do away with the sideposts widget, then it goes away, but then I no longer have a sidebar post.
