Support » Fixing WordPress » URL Hijacked?

  • I have searched the web and these forums, and I can’t find a similar issue. When I try to login to my site using Roboform, I get the following error (view below image I have uploaded to Amazon Cloudfront)

    http://d3ojxb8o4shwru.cloudfront.net/personal/roboform_warning.png

I am not sure if this means my URL has been hijacked, my browser has been hijacked, or my WordPress installation has been corrupted.

I ran a Sucuri scan on this site and the scan shows it as completely clean.

Not sure what I’m looking at here, and any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi,
If this a Roboform issue, I recommend you post in the Roboform forum on contact them direct.

Otherwise, if it were me I would remove the roboform login entirely then check to see what happens. Have you tried that?

Yeah, might be a Roboform issue, although just to be on the safe side I might search the contents of your site files (and your database) for ‘insurancequotes’

You cannot do this through FTP only SSH, just so you know. You would use the ‘grep’ command to search file contents. Or, if you have a recent copy of your site files on your local drive you can just search that on your desktop.

Do you see any other strange behaviour with the site or is it just this one issue?
