  • Updates and plugins can be the cause of this problem, looking at the error-message.

    Try the following:

    1. Use FTP to access your site
      e.g. http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
    2. rename all plugins by putting a ‘0’ in front of each plugin -folder;
      ../wp-content/plugins
    3. Check if the access / ‘normal functioning’ has been restored
    4. If so: one-by-one, remove the ‘0’, checking every time to see if the problem re-occurs.
    5. when the problem re-occurs, you’ve found the source of the problem; Delete and find a similar plugin that works with your site
    6. alternatively: FTP:Delete; Then download and install / activate a NEW version of the problematic plugin and see if this works.

    Alternatively:
Instead of ftp, use the webaccess dashboard functions provided by the webhost.
This usually is not as versatile and more cumbersome.

WordPress updated to the newest version and then disable all plugins, their access should normalize, then goes enabling the plugins one by one and testing the aesso to find out which one is giving problem.

Since we do not have access, follow the guidance of fellow above and rename the plugins folder.

The plugin causing the problem is yd-profile-visitor-tracker/yd-profile-visitor-tracker.php .

    Rename that.

Where emerged these strange bugs I recommend disabling all the plugins to make sure that it is not incompatible, well that discovered the problem.

I’ve downloaded filezilla (it has really bad reviews – even called dangerous by a couple of them) – haven’t a clue what to do next now that I’ve downloaded it.

Still can’t access anything related to my website, so can’t try any of the suggestions.

What to do now? Thanks in advance for anything that can help!

You can change the name of the offending plugin by ftp or the file manager your host provides. You do not need to log in to your site.

Hi! So my I have a website powered through WordPress, and I have done very little on it, and somehow I managed to delete the login thingy on the site itself, and I can’t find the email that has the link I go to to login and edit my site…Any help on that?
