I thank you for your excellent plugin,I am a first time user. All the problems users are having according to the forum, and yet I tested it with several dummy runs and all worked 100% perfectly.
My only question at this time is the reserve options- the moment a bidder hits the reserve (or over), the item seems to be immediately “won”. Is there an option to allow the further bidding to continually keep on rising to the closing date?

Thanks Michael for kind words. It helps if you could write your review too.

Regarding your question: It does not happen the way you described. Auction only expires when it reaches its end date and allows bidding till that time irrespective of when reserve price has reached or not.

I would recommend you to test it again as there might be confusions when you tested previously.

    Cheers,
    Nitesh

Yes I will gladly place a review- remind me where? …
However, that problem still persists,it may be something I’ve done wrong but cannot trace at all.
Ive added a link below to a screen shot(pdf) after bidding the known reserve price. The bidding instantly ended the auction around 24 hours before closing time. Not urgent but help appreciated further.

    Hi Michael,

Review can be written here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/ultimate-auction

Auctions do not end when it reaches reserve price, I think we are not on the same page. You can create a demo auction and let me know and let me see it.

I think maybe my bidding hitting the BUY NOW price when I was testing was the problem I was having. All seems to be OK now. I tested it once again and the screen shots below show it all working. After I place a second bid which happened to be the BUY NOW price the auction ended.I now believe the only way to keep it going is a higher BUY NOW price so that we can get that frenzied bidding war should demand be strong for any item.

Thanks once again for your help and fantastic product. On the first sale I will definitely write that review.
