Site unreachable by Google in Coming Soon mode

    Hi,

    First of all thanks for a great plug in. I only started my first site 2 days ago so am finding my way – apologies if my question is obvious.

    Using google webmaster tools I was unable to verify my site when the Coming Soon mode was active, but on disabling it I could verify my site. All good.

    Next when trying to ‘fetch as google’ from the webmaster tools, the site is unreachable by google when the Coming Soon mode is active.

    Is this by design? I had understood that maintenance mode told search engines your site was down but that the coming soon mode left it index-able by search engines?

    Hi again – I tried the ‘fetch as google’ again and it worked this time, with the site still in Coming Soon mode.

    However, I’d be interested to hear any comments and also know whether the site will still be indexed by google even though in Coming Soon mode?

    Hi, just installed Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode plugin but it’s not showing on Internet explorer or Safari error messages only – also had trouble seeing it on Chrome but can at the moment. Can anyone help me fix this? Want to make sure it displays on all browsers.
