• I had such hope for this plugin – the functionality would have been perfect. Except that it tanked multiple other plugins that are critical to my site.

So disappointing – I hope you can bring all of this promising functionality to fruition.

(It would help if this plugin worked on earlier versions of PHP as well.)

I’d love to upgrade this review in future if the plugin gets sorted out.

    Our PHP is clean.

Turn on WP_DEBUG to display your specific error message by adding:

    define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );

To the top of your wp-config.php file.

Post the error message you see here and we might be able to fix it.

Because this is a functioning corporate website, I can’t do this for you. But I have lots of info for you, so perhaps you’ll be able to use this to find a solution.

Some background: While determining what was happening, and waiting for responses from all three plugins in play, our site had a blank home page for approximately 30 hours. (I’m not complaining about your speed at all – I still haven’t heard from the developers of the other plugins, lol – just that in the corporate world, it’s not okay to be down that long.)

Troubleshooting: Since I upgraded the PHP version in order to install your plugin, there was some question about which caused the other plugins to fail.

We pulled back the PHP version update, restored the site, then updated PHP again. All was well.

When I installed Landing Pages again, the same failure occurred. This time, it was clear what caused it.

    The plugins affected are:

    Icon Box WordPress plugin
    LayerSlider WP

These operate the slideshow that’s the centerpiece of our homepage, and the scrolling box of client logos in the left sidebar. (You can see these at: http://www.1stbasis.com )

Both plugins worked before I installed Landing Pages, and failed only while it was installed. Now that it’s uninstalled, they’re working again.

I hope this is helpful, and that a solution is possible. Your functionality appears to be the finest out there, and I want to use it on my site if a fix can be found before I have to choose a different plugin in order to meet my deadline for AB testing related to a new product roll-out.

Thanks in advance for anything you can do to fix the conflict between these plugins.

I wanted to check in to see if there is any possibility that the info I provided may be instrumental in a solution, or if I should look for a different landing page plugin that doesn’t conflict with the plugins that support critical elements of my site.

Dave, I appreciate that you have many priorities I know nothing about. So if it’s not possible (or practical) to resolve this in the near future, I completely understand. And I’d be grateful to know so I can move on to sourcing a way of achieving my AB testing.

If there’s a solution coming soon, I’ll gladly wait (to the extent that my deadlines permit, lol). I just need to know.

    Thanks in advance!
