• Hi all,
    I just got through 24 pages of forum posts, and I think I can safely say I did RTFM πŸ™‚

    When I create a page with an album like this;
    [album=2,compact]
    or even
    [album=2, extend]
    I see the galleries contained within the album and that’s good. Precisely what’s needed. Then things become strange;

    Clicking on the gallery produces a vertical “listing” of thumbnails, which although it does the job of showing what’s in the gallery, it’s ugly….

    Initially I thought it was the theme to blame, but invoking the default theme (assuming that does everything perfectly, and useful as a test if the theme is suspected to be causing problems) I got the same result.

    What I was simply aiming for was the same result that Alex got on this page;
    or on this page:
    http://nextgen.boelinger.com/gallery-page/

    Both are pleasing! It would be – I suppose – an even greater bonus to be able to specify how many columns/rows on a page….but that’s probably way too picky. I’ll gladly settle for 3 across and 2 rows just exactly as seen on Alex’s pages…that’s just fine for now.

    An example of what I’m carrying on about can be seen here (hint, it’s not pretty!): http://www.dogshit.eu/?page_id=297&album=2&gallery=2

    Regards & TIA,
    -Colin
