Great to hear it! I am working on some deploy stuff (I hate SVN) and will try to push that live soon. Now we just need to bring other devs to our cause. Great thinking!

One caveat is that users might run into the menu $_POST limit more quickly now. That’s actually the trac ticket holding this back from being in core.

That $_POST limit is so annoying; though I let core devs worry about it 😀

Well the $_POST limit has been languishing in a trac ticket for 3 years!! I’ve heard it might see some love from a Google Summer of Code project, but if inspiration strikes you again I’d be open to collaborating on a patch.
