When I post my event, the thumbnail picture shows the date the event was posted.

How can I change this to the date of the event itself?

I have looked everywhere, but cannot find any way to change it.

    Thanks!

  • I’d like to know if this is possible as well. I found the code in index-one.php and simply removed the “get date” strings from the line. Don’t interpret this as a recommendation to do this yourself, though. 🙂 I have an events plug-in also running, and I just needed to clear that up in one easy spot.

WordPress allows you to change the posted date.
Just change the posted date to your event date..
I mean alter your posted date to you desired date..
you can change it in post editor..

I’ve modified the post date but when I put a future date (01 Gen 2015 e.g.) it turn like “scheduled” and disappear from website. Thanks

Yes the future date will be scheduled to published.. it will only work on past date.. We don’t have this feature in free theme.. but we do have in the premium version on Accesspress Lite.. If you are interested then you can contact us through our theme homepage contact.
