    Hello I am first time user of WP, but I have followed most of instructions to get my WP site work. My hosting provider doest support all minimum requirements and everything should works without problem.

    But…. when I try to run instalation proces on http://www.mytraja.nazory.cz/wp-admin/install.php I only get this screen

    Parse error: parse error in /3w/nazory.cz/m/mytraja/wp-config.php on line 13

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp() in /3w/nazory.cz/m/mytraja/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

    Also I have followed host provider instructions, and they send me that everything should works well

    Could anybody share your expierence with installation.

    Why is the install url different than the error url’s
    http://www.mytraja.nazory.cz/wp-admin/install.php
    /3w/nazory.cz/m/mytraja/wp-config.php
    Is your subdomain set up properly and resolved ?

    Hi, thx for response.
    First time I have set up in file wp-config define(‘DB_HOST /3w/nazory.cz/m/mytraja/wp-config.php). I made a mistake, this is HOME DIRECTORY info from my HOST account. Second time I have repaired for right amount define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘mysql.webzdarma.cz’); and once again upload to server. But still with the same screen.

    Also I have followed instruction from host provider support, and this way it should works. This subdomain seems to be set up properly.

    delete curent wp-config.php
    get a clean wp-config-sample.php, rename it to wp-config.php, edit it ( care full ), upload it to your ftp

    backup the curent wp-config.php, just for safe.

    I am getting desperate, but don’t give up…

    That error indicates not all files are uploaded. Upload the /wp-includes folder again.

    Yeah, great

    I have reloaded all (repaired) files to server and start to install WP.

    Lets go editing and browsing 🙂

    It takes (for me) two weeks to get WP on the web. Now I am statisfied…
