Media Uploader problem

    Hello, I have been having a problem when I try to add an image into a post.

    I click “Add an Image” and the pop up comes up, I upload some images, no problem, but if I click on the Gallery tab it is empty (even though it might say “Gallery(2)”.

    This is annoying when I am uploading a lot of images because when I click “insert into Post” the pop up closes, so I have to upload images again (I am building this site for a Photographer)

    Bander2 – are you using WP 2.6? Do you have a custom folder for your photos and not the default wp-contet/uploads? Do you have your permissions set up properly in the folder where you are uploading?

    in 2.6, and if you have a custom folder, make sure that you give FULL URL path to file. It says it is optional, but at 2.6 it’s not.

    For your permissions, make sure that the system has read write permission. hope this helps

    Sheiglagh, thanks for the respose.

    I did these and still no luck. The images are in the wp-contet/uploads folder after I upload them, they just aren’t showing up in the Gallery tab.

    And yes, I am using 2.6.

    Hosted on Yahoo (that seems to cause some problems)

    My blog is also hosted on Yahoo and I’m having the same problems. My older posts show the images but when I brow the media pane, I only see the recent images that I have uploaded.

    I’m able to upload more than one image at a time and the ‘Gallery’ pane says the number but when I click on it, I don’t see any of the images…

    cipote, that’s exactly it. So, I guess it is yahoo. I have found a lot of problems since I put the site on their server.

    I’ll keep at it and post here if I find a solution.
