Jetpack won't connect to WordPress

I get an error message from Jetpack when I try to “connect” it to my domains. “This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host”. I’ve called my web host, Godaddy, twice now, and they checked and told me everything is fine on their end. I’ve tried uninstalling the site and reinstalling it and I’ve tried a troubleshooting procedure I found online, to no avail. I’ve got over 100 websites and have never had this problem, ever. The last two domains I’ve purchased/installed have done this now: http://ThePeople.ws and http://TheWarIsOn.com refuse to connect Jetpack with WordPress. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
