I can’t post a link to the form, it happens in the admin area.

For example, if I’m in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7 and I click the copy link if any existing form, I’d expect to stay on that and view the new form. It takes me to /wp-admin/ and I need to click again on the left menu to go to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7

It also happens after saving a form, or changing a form name… I think it doesn’t follow the standard behaviour of admin posts page, admin pages page or any other custom type pages.

From visitor’s point of view everything works fine.

I’m really surprised, no one else is having this issue?

I meant “…I’d expect to stay on that PAGE…”

It is always possible that Contact Form 7 didn’t install or update correctly on your site. It’s a general problem with WordPress updates due to the unreliability of internet connections.

Delete the plugin folder at wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/ and install the plugin again.

I faced this problem today and i searched for a solution to this bad problem and didn’t find any thing !!
and after more tries i found that when i add a class attribute to any html element in the from i get wrong redirect when saving the edit form, so you must remove any class attributes or replace it with id

this stupid and unexpected solution fixed my problem and hope it to help you.

Thanks azekry for looking into int. I’m glad you solved it, I was using a CLASS attribute aswell, but changing it to ID doesn’t solve the problem 🙁

I hope someone else come with other ideas…

Try to remove all attributes classes and ids and every attributes if you did it may work.
i was putting the from inputs in a table and i used the colsapn attribute (colspan=”2″) this attribute also cause a problem in redirect.
    hope this help.
