Thanks for that, but just to clarify – I did not offer to pay on this forum for help, as the link from Jan ‘warns’ against, I asked a theme developer if he was willing to develop a theme for me in exchange for payment – a fully reasonable request, I would have thought as uncountable numbers of theme and template developers do this.
I will of course conduct everything else in private.

Yes. That was understood. That’s why I posted that link. 😉
It’s the second part that I highlighted just now that is why I am closing this topic per that link I posted.
I didn’t close it before but now that you’ve clarified…
I would have thought as uncountable numbers of theme and template developers do this.
Not here they don’t. Developers would run afoul of that link I posted and would get a shoulder tap asking them not to do that here.
