Sponsored hosting – wise thing to do?

I have received offers to sponsor my web hosting. Just wondering, i can’t find a single topic on google covering this. Guess it is not a common thing. Wonder what is the bad side of it? Anyone been there done that? Have any experiences to share? Just hoping to avoid some obstacles that’s coming my way – if there’s any!
