wp-cron reseting the connection to the server

    My server has been crashing frequently leaving a connection reset error every time this happens. Just today I manage to reach the processing page before the server went back to normal and found out that the wp-cron was running making me guess that this file is causing the stress on the server. I’m using the current 2.6 version. Anyone know of how this causes the problem/how to fix it?
