Most urls and images not changed

    Hey tried the plugin but not much luck. The menu items were changed (did wp do this by default?), but none of the images work and links in the content were not changed. It says success and that it found 101 attachments and content items.

    I just moved the site from example.com to example.com/xxx

    I don’t think there was any cache (deleted it with wp-super cache) and I think I typed the url in correctly.

    my site url doesn’t have “www.” in front- don’t know if that matters.

    I’ve tried with a trailing / and without.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    I think it may have to do with the way I set up my links. for a link I use “/wp-content/image.jpg” instead of “http://example.com/xxx/wp-content/image.jpg”. So the links aren’t actually there when trying to replace. For some reason wp is inserting the old link and not the full path. How would I change this behavior?

    I’m thinking it is the GUID’s of the attachment media. Should I go ahead and change those as well?

    Well- went through and hand repaired my mysql databases, but it didn’t help. So I decided to just absolute link everything (which some say is better for seo). Still don’t know why this happened.
