    Hi,

Did you click on the “Save Settings” button under the “Custom HTML content” textarea ?

Is this a multisite installation ?

Well I got rid of the problem now by changing wordpress theme and then changing back again.
Strange, but now the site is online again.
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

Glad to know you got it working.

Do let us know if you have any feedback for our plugin.

Also stuck in maintenance mode. I’ve developed many wordpress sites. I know how to save settings. Just because someone figures out how to get around the problem doesn’t mean it’s fixed. The only way I found to disable this plug in was to delete it entirely.

@ewbangle I can look into this issue. Can you please provide the the value of the following field from your database :
    SELECT * FROM PREFIX_options WHERE option_name = ‘disable_smm’;

Also are you using MultiSite ?

I’ll try to get that to you. Sorry don’t mean to be jerk.
    -I am NOT using a multi-site.

How do I know I’m not giving you the command codes to lower my shields like in Wrath of Kahn??? 😉

    Hi,

You can be assured I will not ask for anything that is not related to Smart Maintenance Mode.

The value of option I am asking is used by Smart Maintenance Mode to check if the Maintenance Mode is disabled or enabled. I asked for this to make sure that the settings were saved or did some error occur while saving the settings.

If you can give me the details we can get this issue resolved and make sure no one else faces the issue.

Same problem here, but im really stucked as ive deleted the plugin an now my site wont load, so basically the damn plugin disabled my site and now i dont know how to reverse it.. Only thing i am able to access is the admin panel

    Hi mainmike,

We do not make changes to any other file in WordPress except for our plugin files. If you have uninstalled the plugin the maintenance mode should not load and your site should load fine.

Can you give a screenshot or something of what you see on your site ?

Its all white, nothing load (very weird): http://prntscr.com/4wcox3

(Plugin is deleted, and if i install it again, i get maintenance mode screen instead of all white..)

Seems like the plugin is haunting my site..

Got the site up and running again by re-installing an old translate plugin. Cant delete this plugin obviously..

    Hi,

Glad to know that your issue was resolved.

It could be an issue due to another outdated plugin.
