How did you figure it out? I’m having the same problem. Thanks!
Which theme are you using? I have several and I don’t remember which one I did this on…
It’s on Spun. I fixed it by modifying the .php files, but now I’m restricted to only modifying the .css (I no longer have access to the .php)
@majohnson: If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic instead of tagging onto someone else’s topic.
so you got it fixed? If not start your thread and I will try to help
I’m having the same problem, please can someone let me know how to fix this.
I’m using Vertex at http://www.core-reformer.com
@eltonbean are you using the Spun theme?
No I’m using the Vertex theme. Thx
Then you need to post in the forum for that theme
BEFORE you do this BACKUP your file…
Try removing the following from Main Template.php (index.php)
<?php if ( is_home() && ! is_paged() ) : ?>
<h2 class=”site-description”><?php bloginfo( ‘description’ ); ?></h2>
<?php endif; ?>
@eltonbean Did it work for you?
I’ll try it now and let you know, thanks
Simon
No, there was no php in the index.php resembling that.
Thanks
Simon
Here is the fix. Add this to the custom CSS:
#pre-footer p.tagline {
display: none;
}
