• Hi, I am soumya and i have a website at http://www.sarsoft.in where i am running a wp mutisite installation and i am hoping to have about 10000 users..

but i have a problem because i am unable to find the right way to split the database. I studied plugins like hyperdb, shardb and multidb but found out that hyperdb is the best for me because i can connect many databases using it.(more than 4096) but upon learning it i found it does not give each blog it’s own tables in separate databases. only it splits the rows of tables between databases. wordpress uses 9 tables for each blog. and those tables keep on increasing as new blogs are added. so i want a plugin or some other solution by which i will be able to partition the database table wise not row wise. plz somebody help………….

You learned it incorrectly, I think, because HyperDB does not split by rows, it splits by tables, just as you’re saying here.
