Default plugins

Hi, I am very new to all of this, and not at all website techical, so need some guidance please.

We have had a custom theme designed on the WP platform (www.westjewel.co.za)and now need to navigate the minefield of plugins. I would like to start by installing the standard plugins which the basic WP themes have as this seems to be a very logical starting point.

Where would I find these listed?
