Short code custom sidebar replacement problem

    Hi,

    I am using “Custom sidebars” plugin and “amr shortcode any widget”.

    I allow short codes to be displayed for the excerpt and the amr shortcode widget does show in the excerpt. But when I replace the amr shortcode with another widget with custom sidebars it doesn’t show up in the exceprt. The replacement shows up in the post itself as well as the preview but just not in the excerpt.

    Hi sexyboysclub,

    There’s a option on the Advanced Excerpt options page that reads “Remove shortcodes from the excerpt. (recommended)”. Are you able to check whether this option is checked or unchecked?

    Hi Chris,

    The option is unchecked. I can see the shortcode widget that I put in. I kind of think this issue may be with the amr shortcode widget instead.
