wordpress developers in Winnipeg?

Hi i am new to WordPress and wonder if there are some dev’s in my area that would be able to help me get started. i do pc repair and networking as well as media box set ups and installs. I have worked with html a bit in the past but heard from a friend that word press is the way to go. I am excited to be here and hope my new home will be friendly and supportive as i have heard.
