• Hi,

When I log out of my website on the right side of the admin bar (below howdy) I do not have a problem.

    mydomaim/wp-login.php?action=logout&_wpnonce=16d....

When I log out using the theme options log out link [loginout-link] I do.

    mydomaim/wp-login.php?action=logout&redirect_to=http://mydomain.com/_wpnonce=16d....

I do not believe the above [loginout-link] url with the redirect is the default url. I can think of two ways this could have happened. only two?

I have spent quite a bit of time in my cpanel looking for the url in a plugin and in my WordPress and theme files.

    Thank you for your time.

    Jerry

  • Hi Jerry!

    1) what is your site url please?
    2) Where is the theme options logout link? (is that literally a short code you are using, and if so, where on the site?)
    3) What is the issue with the second logout that you want to fix?

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

My website (not published) has 3 static pages with one page (not named home) set as static page > Front page in General Settings. This has worked fine for more then a year.

Now, if I view a page on my website other then the Front page in any browser, when I log into my website from the Front page I am not logged into that other page. Only after using CCleaner and not viewing that other page in a browser before logging into my website from the Front page will I be logged into that page.

I used the system restore recovery feature in Windows 8 but that did not solve the problem.

    1) I don’t know how to put a link to my website on the forum without the forum becoming a search result for my website.

    2) Dashboard > Settings > Theme Options

    3) If I log out from a page on my website that is not the Front page using the second link ( 2) above ) I go to the page I logged out from. I view the page in a browser. I realize now the second logout link itself is not the cause of my problem.

    Thank you for your time

    Hi Jerry,
you can spell it out your site url phonetically here without the http and .com part so we can help you.

    like:

    labzip dot com would work so we can look at your site…. or l a b z i p . c o m

either way, this is sounding a lot like a caching issue with the site or your local browser. When I see your site live I can check if I get similar results as you do, which will help to determine immediately if it’s the site or your browser.

    Cheers!
